The Energy IN TIME Project arrived to its end. Is it a real END?

Dear reader,

You receive this newsletter due to any sort of relation you might have with the project ‘Energy IN TIME’ or one of its partners.

The EiT would like to thank you for your interest, time and attention, let us present you the final part of the work of the Energy In Time project performed since May, 2017.

At the final meeting it was decided to maintain the website of Energy In Time alive allowing all the people and organizations to consult the necessary information. This is an example of knowledge transference stressing an important point of that all R&D projects, although they arrive to their logical end, actually do not finish but develop into further ideas and projects of a more specific nature. And this is what happens to the EiT Project too.

Very happy to be part of this interesting experimental work and very glad to have contributed to the global development.

Best regards, the Energy IN TIME consortium members

The Final Public Event in Faro, Portugal

We would like to start with the Final Event held in Faro, Portugal. We spread information about this event through all available channels: mailing with invitations, social media and our website. Energy IN TIME Consortium concludes the Project which started four years ago around energy efficiency in non-residential buildings by presenting the results at the International Airport of Faro, Portugal. The place was chosen on purpose since this is one of the four demo sites deployed at the beginning of this conjoint Project. The EiT Consortium is glad to say that it is absolutely satisfied with the research activities and the intermediate results because it means that the work will continue. The Project showed the enormous potential of what was studied and tested and the capacity to improve and refine the technological solutions in order to commercialize them successfully in the market.

We are also pleased to present you other information of what we did and what we highlight in the following sections.

ANA

Our Partners take an active part in different public and more specific events spreading news about the Energy IN TIME Project

This is an example of different EiT Partners, like ICPE, UTRC or Ana Aeroportos de Portugal. One of the latest participations was that of ANA, a Portuguese partner. He took part in the next.mov Smart Region Summit held in Portugal on the 18th and 19th of May, 2017. The Summit was dedicated to highlight the importance of the Mobility and Digital Transformation, the broad topics which include various questions such as energy efficiency, sustainability, smart infrastructure management, decision support tools and others.

Why renewables and how do they contribute for Energy Efficiency?

Why renewables and how do they contribute for Energy Efficiency?

This kind of parallel question to the EiT Project is more than necessary. We speak about energy demand and how we can improve energy efficiency through different techniques. In this sense the Energy IN TIME Project tries to contribute to this broad topic developing improved procedures that involve data management, specific analysis and intelligent systems to predict and simulate detected patterns in energy consumption in non-residential buildings.

Energy Efficiency in Buildings

Energy Efficiency in Buildings

Relying on the latest report of EEB Project, we want to deliver information about the relevance of energy efficiency in buildings, or, in other words, building sustainability. We are arriving to the end with our project and therefore we feel the need to set awareness on this important issue.
